Key Steps for Accreditation
- Document Preparation:
- Founding documents of the foreign commercial organization, registered per the legislation of the relevant country.
- Extract from the trade register or similar register from the country of origin confirming the company’s registration.
- Regulation on the representative office, signed and sealed (if applicable) by the foreign company’s head.
- Power of attorney for the head of the representative office outlining their authority.
- Guarantee letter from the property owner in Uzbekistan confirming readiness to lease the premises.
- Application Submission:
- Documents are submitted to the Ministry of Investments, Industry, and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
- Payment of State Duty:
- The state duty is 48 basic calculation units (BCUs) per year of accreditation.
- Issuance of Accreditation Certificate:
- After review, a certificate confirming the accreditation of the representative office is issued.
- Additional Steps:
- Creation of a representative office seal.
- Registration with tax authorities and obtaining a Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN).
- Opening a bank account in Uzbekistan.
Accreditation Period
Accreditation is granted for a period of 1 to 3 years, with an option for renewal. Applications for renewal must be submitted at least one month before the current accreditation expires.

- Personal Income Tax (PIT) — 12% when paying employee salaries.
